The Northern Public House - Mill Creek

The prices on most items felt quite high, particularly the drinks. Charging $7 for a cider that wasn't even a full pint is excessive. The food was decent, but the prices for burgers and entrees were a few dollars more than they should be. Our server seemed either distracted or indifferent; he appeared quite out of it and was not very attentive. We had to repeatedly seek his attention to address our needs. Additionally, the food took an excessive amount of time to arrive. We waited nearly 10 minutes just for our drinks and almost 20 minutes for the appetizer, which came only a couple of minutes before the main courses. Given the abundance of great dining options in the area, we won't be returning to Northern Public House.

Solid fancy pub fare. No complaints form anyone I was with, in fact everyone enjoyed their meal. They offered a flight of pumpkin beer for those in a fall mood. It is definitely worth a try.

We at opped by Northern for a flight. I chose a raspberry lime beer and a ginger lime cider and he chose a couple of IPA?s (that were too bitter for me! Their menu is available through a QR code and easily accessible. Their beers are all IBU rated, which was helpful in getting something we?d like. Tachos and Caesar salad are my go to every time. The beer selection is awesome. The atmosphere is pretty chill with good music playing in the background. It would have been a 4-5 star, but the last few times I've been to this establishment the service has been sub par.

Met up with an old friend of mine and she suggested the northern public. I had the chicken Toco salad and my friend had the beef tios. I should have ordered shredded lettuce, some chicken crumbled in it with mayonnaise tossed for the dressing. The worst taco salad I've ever had. Not to mention the chips that came with the salad were stale. My friends beef tips were drowned in some heavy sauce that didn't even look good. Both dishes were not good. Don't get the reviews. Must have been a bad day in the kitchen.
