Millinocket means Place of Islands , and I thought, when I read that, of my experience this past Spring when three of us rolled into Millinocket late on a Sunday eve, every place was closed. Angelo 's opened for us, made awesome meatball sandwiches and shared great stories and conversed with us for hours. Highly recommended. Angelos is an island of comfort and good food. Parking: 3 motorcycles rode the wrong way on the one-way main street with no problems at arriving right in front of Angelos. Why is that main street a one way? There are like, 12 cars in town.
Best burger we've ever had in Millinocket! Pizza ? is amazing and the steak and cheese sub is perfect and has great bread.
Even though it was super busy my order was made to perfection with great service. Sometimes it's the only place open on the weekends and on Monday's in Millinocket the guy that waited on us was polite and friendly; definitely a plus.
A small pizza with five toppings that wasn't cooked to my liking isn't worth $26. I had to add seasoning to what I thought was a bland pizza.
This is the best Chicken-Bacon-Ranch pizza I've ever had!
