Paris Baguette - Milpitas

I had a letdown at what was once my favorite bakery. The most frustrating part was the manager's dismissive response when I shared my concerns. I requested a store credit, but my request was outright denied. In the end, I left the cake at the bakery. We served it to eight guests, and only two of them took more than a single bite, with most leaving it untouched. The cake was bland, consisting of 80% greasy cream and only 20% actual cake. While losing money isn’t my biggest issue, I’m genuinely disheartened by how a well-known brand like Paris Baguette handles customer complaints and satisfaction. It's really disappointing.

I really love this place; my overall experience has been excellent. There's ample seating available and a fantastic selection of desserts, buns, and sandwiches. The pastries are offered in both sweet and savory options, including some with ham. They also have a variety of beverages, featuring bottled drinks as well as tea and coffee. Additionally, the freezer is filled with ice cream, and they provide everything you need for a child's birthday party—candles, party hats, whole cakes, and cake slices. The atmosphere is charming, and the staff members are very friendly. We find ourselves coming back often. My personal favorite is the chocolate croissant, and I appreciate that the berries in their cakes are always fresh; I'm quite particular about that and always check to make sure there are no moldy ones.

Although the seating arrangement in the café isn't ideal for working or studying, it's a fantastic spot to relax with friends and family after a Sunday lunch. The atmosphere is lively, filled with people enjoying each other's company. I've consistently left feeling content after my visits.

The food was incredibly tasty, and the ambiance was wonderful. Although the location might not look impressive at first glance, don’t be deceived. Our server, Lilianna, was a joy and offered exceptional service. I highly recommend the crab coleslaw sandwich—it’s a must-try! Delicious!

Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy sweets and pick up cakes for family and friends. I prefer this Paris Baguette over a typical café because of its exceptional variety of treats and the inviting atmosphere, which is always immaculate (the Korean standard of cleanliness really shines through!). I also appreciate that they refrain from using lard, ghee, or other high-fat oils, and the flavors of their baked goods are fantastic—let’s just hope they increase the filling! The ambiance is also ideal for work meetings; I noticed several groups enjoying boxes of sweets while discussing their projects. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the long sweet potato croissant, the milk bread with coconut, the almond paste croissant, and the yellow cream bread; all were delicious! I wish I had both the budget and metabolism to try everything in one visit, as the dessert selection is extensive and incredibly tempting!
