Skyway Cafe - Milwaukee

My fiance randomly chose this restaurant for my birthday breakfast and I must say. Amazing!!! The coffee is delicious that's always a plus but the food. The food left me speechless!!! I ordered the bacon egg and cheese plain bagel and just wow. Amazingly delicious!! And I don't even eat bagels. Hands down great place to stop for a bite and coffee.

Amazing. Only 1 visit, so I 'll update if I need to as I 'll definitely be going back. I was a little hesitant as to how to get there, but it was easy. Just go in the front door of the 626 building and go down the hall to the right past the security guard. The cozy corner of the building it 's located in adds to it 's charm. Not sure why it 's called 'skyway ' as it 's on the ground floor... They have a really good selection of food including a breakfast all day. They cook the food to order, it 's not just zapped in a microwave which was awesome, but know it 'll take 5/10 minutes to be ready depending on what you get. Prices are VERY reasonably priced for the amount of food you actually get. I was on the fence about the price when I ordered, because I was not expecting it to be such generous portions. They also have specials. I will definitely be going back and trying out different things, including the pancakes and their lunch items. I had the Large Croissant Sandwich with sausage/egg/cheese. It was amazing. The egg as well was actually fried eggs, not something looking like a fast-food egg.

I had gone to the Skyway Cafe for years before I retired and the owners are the MOST AMAZING people!!!! They ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure their customers are happy!!! Their food is AWESOME too!!!! I sure miss that I no longer get downtown to not only have some delicious freshly made food or to see such a WONDERFUL family working together to provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Great food with fantastic friendly service. They have a fairly large variety of food options and serve a selection breakfast items all day (who doesn't love that!?!? The portion sizes are pretty generous and well worth the price.

This was a little hard to find due to the locations near the third floor of The Boston Store, but it was quick and the service was fantastic! You can even call the order in before you go and get it even faster. The food was absolutely delicious andSO much more affordable than the hotel restaurant! It was a very easy and short walk from the Hilton Downtown Center too!
