Pete's Pizza - Mineral Wells

I love it! It has a comfortable rest room, a neat little country store that took me back to my childhood, great service, and the food was excellent! We showed up on Thursday for wing night. .75 wings. I had the hot wings and I loved them from the Crispy skin to the perfect sauce. My daughter got the 8 pepperoni pizza and crinkle fries. She is picky and was happy. My wife got the spaghetti and meatballs. It was baked with a healthy covering of cheese and she was pleased. Be advised that there are diced onions and green peppers on the side salad, which is a very nice size. She missed that they were going to be on the salad, so that is on us. Our server did not hesitate to offer a replacement, but we declined. The lettuce and toppings were finely chopped, which would make for a tasty salad. We were on a road trip coming up 77 and looking for something not fast food, but hand-held. Pete's was a fairly quick stop. If you give yourself time for them to prep, you can stop in, pick it up and get back on the road. The calzone was really good and enough for three people. Wings were great.
