Borough - Minneapolis

It's unsettling when people mention they're going to eat in Borough. Usually, it’s their first visit, and I notice they rarely return. Why is that? The menu just isn’t appetizing at all. The only ones at the table who seem satisfied are those who order the burger. But I can’t fault the staff; their service is excellent.

I’ve dined in Borough a few times, and while the happy hour is fantastic, the real highlight of the menu is the octopus! *Kissing Church*

This restaurant has become one of our favorites over the past 18 months for consistently providing a spectacular date night experience. The food is absolutely delicious (everything is great, but the roasted carrots are prepared with pure magic), the drinks are impressive, the atmosphere is romantic, and the service is outstanding. Our server, Emily, was very knowledgeable and had the perfect intuition for when to check on us without hovering. The level of service here matches that of Spoon, maintaining a high standard of hospitality. I’m also happy to see that the banquet area has been updated since it was in need of a refresh. Plus, free parking is a nice bonus! Borough truly is a gem.

The food was so good! We shared the Parlour Burger and Pommes and the spaghetti. Our cocktails were also delicious. We love coming to Borough. We sat on the deck. It was nice and our server was great. Very recommended!

Great food and service. We were able to get in without a reservation. Many unique items on the menu. It's definitely on the pricey side and the portion sizes are small, especially on apps. But, we knew that going in.
