Great live music and food is good had the pear and ham sandwich which was ok but not the best ive had based on the description. However husband had the beef dip and liked it a lot.

After all these years this place is still doing it right! Way to go HC, I'm glad you're still around and still one of my favorites!

Hubby and I ate here on 12/30 while in town for the Vikings game. We really liked the food and the service was great. We both had the prime rib sandwich. I also had the cheese curds which melted in my mouth! The only thing we didn’t like was the automatic 15% service charge to all checks and that doesn’t include the tip for the server!!! A simple lunch turned into a $100 meal. We didn’t have any alcoholic beverages either. I likely won’t go again but glad I experienced a Minnesota staple!

Always a good time here. The atmosphere was great, with the Christmas decorations still up and a jazz band playing. The **** bar was awesome and the Pear and Ham crisp sandwich was great as always.

The Christmas decorations are supreme! Lemon ricotta pancakes can be ordered a la carte and are must.
