Legendary Spice - Minneapolis

The food I have previously ordered had some of the authentic ingredients you would find in Chinese cuisine, however, the items I ordered had a funky tasting over saltiness that I cannot really describe. I wish that single element wasn't part of the dishes. Not sure if I would order again because all the items I ordered prior were so cloyingly salty that I couldn't finish them.

I have visited this restaurant a few times since they opened, and I really enjoyed it. I loved that they had a boba place inside the restaurant. We ordered several dishes and they were all delicious. The eggplant stir fry was especially memorable. The service was quick and friendly. I look forward to returning soon!

This restaurant is a good choice for Sichuan cuisine in the city, as there are not many options available. We ordered the pork ribs, which were battered, fried, and served in a hot pan. The chili flavor was present but not overwhelming. The garlic eggplant dish was tasty but quite oily. If you visit for lunch, you can enjoy better prices and your meal will come with an appetizer and soup, which is a nice touch.

Mistakes can happen in the service industry, but how they are handled is crucial. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression on us. To prevent similar incidents in the future, I suggest renaming the new dish to avoid confusion with their signature dish, the Legendary Spice Dry Chilly Chicken. It would also be beneficial to train the staff to confirm orders and deal with any confusion with attentive listening and empathy. The other dishes we tried were delicious, but the service was lacking. Our water glasses were not refilled, and we had to request utensils. I wish the evening had gone smoother, especially when we pointed out the mix-up with the dishes, only to have it brushed off by the restaurant. Your experience may differ, but ours was not satisfactory.
