VERY UNHYGIENIC OF THEM TO USE VEGGIE’s THAT PREVIOUS CUSTOMER PUT THEIR LEFTOVER FOOD IN. I FOUND AN OLD COOKED SHRIMP AND A USED LIME WEDGE IN THE SIDE VEGGIE THAT WENT WITH MY TO-GO BUN BO HUE. I WOULD GIVE THIS A 0 STAR IF I COULD
I like their customer service and their food is good for the most part. But one time I ordered the dinner combo and the fried rice was hard like they used old rice. The egg roll always have a funny smell as well. Just recently I ordered a Pad Thai and it was extremely greasy. I was hungry so I wiped some of the grease with a paper towel and finished it. I don't come here as often anymore because of these problems.
I've been going to The Mandarin for 27 years. It's my go-to for excellent Pho and Spring Rolls . Authentic Vietnamese dishes you just don't see everywhere. Oscar is always welcoming and has friendly conversation for you. If it's your first visit, he will guide you through the menu, suggest dishes and show you how to use the veggies that make their Pho shine . Their Schezuan wings are fabulous. Good Pad Thai. Their Weekend Hong Kong Steak Special is something special! Secret spicing makes this special a winner
First time for me but second time for my husband here at Mandarin. Drive by the area often but never realized it knew its existence until my husband told me. My husband ordered the pho and fried chicken while I got fried dumplings and Bun bo hue noodle soup and as a first to Bun bo hue it was absolutely delicious! I tried my husband’s pho broth just because I was curious and with no surprise (my broth was yummy) it was light and very aromatic full of flavor. Perfect portion! Besides the food the atmosphere was nice and clean and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. We were seated right away and food came out fairly quick.
$6.95 oyster wings still a classic fav of mine Mandarin, sweet, crispy, fresh, has the perfect crunch. Served hot flavorful. I like to rip the wings apart scoop up the sauce w/ the meat
