Contribuisci feedbackThis was my first experience trying authentic ramen and I was impressed! The restaurant's vibe matches its name perfectly— it's a small but well-managed spot with a steady stream of customers, light music, and anime-themed decor. It's a great place to hang out with friends if you're looking to try something different. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options on the menu, including a vegetarian ramen bowl and fried chicken. The service was quick, our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The quality of the food was excellent, made with fresh and flavorful ingredients that justified the price. They also offer a selection of drinks, including beer, sake, and wine. We tried the tonkotsu ramen, which was rich, creamy, and delicious, not too spicy. I'm looking forward to trying some of the spicier options next time. The vegetarian ramen was also flavorful and enjoyable. The hot sake was a nice touch, especially in the Minnesota weather. The staff was hospitable, respectful, and welcoming. Overall, a great dining experience.
I absolutely adore their ramen, it's like a desert soaking up the rain. The Tonk is top-notch in the city. I am confident in taking on any ramen shop in the Pepsi challenge. Every dish is fantastic, but the karaage is a standout. The flavor is all in the marinade. The atmosphere is laid-back, with unique music playing that you probably haven't heard before. Anime is everywhere, playing on the TV screens. It's a paradise for nerds who also happen to love ramen.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My friend ordered the tonkotsu ramen and found it to be bland and unimpressive. Despite hearing great reviews about the rich and tasty broth, we were shocked by the lack of flavor in the ramen. I opted for the vegetable curry, but also found it lacking. The addition of a large, uncooked tomato chunk did not complement the traditional savory taste of Japanese curry and made the dish unappetizing. However, the fried chicken was well done. The onigiri seemed to be lacking in filling, with the focus being on the rice. I was also disappointed to learn that they were out of gyudon, a simple dish that I had been looking forward to. Despite these setbacks, I am willing to give this place another chance based on the positive reviews it has received. Hopefully, my next visit will be better, possibly with a different head chef in charge.
AMAZING food and wonderful staff! I ordered the Torishio ramen and it was TO DIE FOR. We also got an order of tonkatsu ramen with a side of karaage along with pork belly onigiri! Wonderful selection of items with a very welcoming atmosphere. Decorationslook amazing with an anime-styled interior. I don?t know where this has been all my life!! 10/10!! ??
The cozy and simply decorated Ramen Kazama delivers all the comforts of a Japanese ramen shop, including fast service, ice cold beers, and bowls of chewy noodles in deeply flavorful broth. The bowl of Tonkotsu I ordered was topped with slices of chashupork, wood ear mushrooms, scallions, bamboo shoots, and a jammy soy marinated egg. The broth was unctuous and creamy, with adeep pork flavor and the noodles had a nice bouncy chew. Service here was prompt and friendly and I especially appreciated theattention to details like having glass mugs for the selection of Japanese beers. Overall, Ramen Kazama is an excellent spot fora variety of Japanese comfort food, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a ramen experience like the oneyou would experience in Japan, New York, or the West Coast.
