Café Gratitude Kansas City - Missouri

A friend and I went to Cafe Gratitude on a Fall Sunday evening. The restaurant was packed. The hostess, Ivana, was doing her job of hostess and doubling as a waitress. (there was one other waitress who was very busy). The hostess was polite and patient and attentive to everyone who came into the restaurant. The food was excellent. I recommend Cafe Gratitude to vegans, vegetarians, everyone.

Charged us for a salad we didn’t order nor asked for. Instead of two appetizers and two entrees which we ordered for two people they gave us three appetizers and two entrees and charged us for the additional item. The waitress sat the salad down, told us it was the wrong item and said we could keep it and didn’t take it back and charged us

Cleanliness — very clean Environment — ac works very well so take a sweater if you're cold natured Wait staff — very, very nice but only one person waitressing so expect to wait some time to get your food Food — I had the califlower bites and they were too spicy for me; soup of the day was really good; tumeric drink was really good I would definitely go back to try something different.

Wonderful people, amazing atmosphere, Tremendous service, and Wonderful Food!! I’m not even vegan just wanted to try something new; I highly recommend. I was passing through going home to Colorado and this place was suggested by a friend.
