Contribuisci feedbackThe food wasn't bad! I honestly was surprised because we are new to this state and have heard there are no good Chinese food places here.
Maybe caught them on a bad night but our first impression will likely be our last. The sweet sour chicken seemed old and shriveled; the sauce was only sweet, no sour. The cashew chicken was just OK. There are plenty of options in the lake area so no need to try it again. It was a Thursday night and judging by the high volume of cars there to pick up orders we were surprised and disappointed in the quality of the food.
Tried a 2nd time, won't be back. This is Not Chinese Food. They need to get a Chinese chef in there. I'm thinking that because there's no competition in Camdenton for Chinese, they can dish out dog food. Flavorless, small mushy egg rolls, no sweet sour sauce, only plum hot which wouldn't be a problem but packets are 2/3s the size of normal and so old they literally tasted like cardboard…; Now we have friends locally that love this place, but they obviously have never eaten at a real Ch … – show
I love the sweet and sour shrimp and the chicken Fried rice. Some of the appetizers were way to crispy though.
Ordered some take away beef and broccoli and chicken fried rice. As per usual, it’s mostly vegetables with a couple thin slices of beef. But it was just so bland… no zip or spice to it. Same with the chicken fried rice. Couple thin slices of chicken and smattering of fried egg and some bland rice. I unfortunately still think Hy-Vee has the best Chinese at the lake. This far that I’ve found
