We then asked for our food to go, and we heard the cook complaining about. We received our food in bags, the manager gave e us $5.00 off, which was great. We tipped the waitress on the FULL amount, not the discounted amount, as it wasn't her fault. My food was COLD, meaning it was sitting, waiting for the cooks to finish my co-workers food, … – show
This place has gone down hill, not for sure what happened. Waited over an hour for food and the food that was served was cold, stale and tasteless.
You know, it's very sad when the employees of an establishment don't care about the hospitality that comes with working in the customer service industry. When you are greeted with a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE while trying to ask specific questions about menu items, that's not a good look. On the Border, you must do better because these types of situations will continue to lead to the deterioration of your restaurant. The service was ok, but the food was a literal train wreck. I ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken tasted like they started with one of those rubber joke chickens. Cold, dry and rubbery. They replaced it with 3 small grilled shrimp but again, dry and rubber in the form of shrimp.
They're having some staffing shortages like all the other restaurants, so be kind and patient. Endless enchiladas on Mondays.
