Called Eighties Cafe now but still the best stop if you have kids... It’s an aviary with birds, rabbits and a great play area...
Loved it. Best biltong at the butchery. So much to see and do. I could spend hours there.
Great food. Great play place for kids. Lots of animals to see. My son loved the bunnies.
The service was shocking. I ordered a frank and chips for myself... Took exactly 1hr3mins. The food was cold, the Russian pork sausage was raw on one end and I was only given a fork. When I asked for a knife, it seemed like a big deal as I got a smurk from my waitress as she walked away while mumbling something under her breath. I proceeded to ask for the card machine which took an additional 24mins when I then decided to go search for it myself. I stood at the front counter with my waitress clearly busy with something more important and another waitress cleaning the front desk. I asked if she was able to get the card machine to which I received more mumbling. When she eventually found the machine, I paid and left. On exiting the building the doors were locked so I had to ask for further assistance in getting them open, this took even longer when the waitress who seemed to be the only person around now had decided to slip inside a staff only area I wasn't allowed to gain access to. Anyways long story short. Beautiful looking place, exceptionally bad service and utter disrespect, cold and uninviting moods from staff, won't be back.
