Double Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Just moved to Moama and was looking for a good Chinese restaurant. Did I find it ? NO. We ordered lemon chicken, satay beef and fried rice. The lemon chicken came in the usual takeaway container and looked quite full. When we lifted the lid we saw that half the container was filled with some sort of crispy noodle ( not nice to eat ). $20.50. Not a lot of chicken. The sauce could have done with a little lemon in it. Just very sweet. The satay beef was only just alright. I have had much better many many times. $20.50. The fried rice was again just alright. It had a couple of prawns in it and I found myself crunching on tails and shell. Not nice. I moved up from Melbourne and I have eaten in many really good Chinese restaurants and I have never ever paid these sort of prices. I never mind paying extra for good quality food but this was not quality and very very expensive for what we got. This meal was for 2 people and it cost over $60. I feel cheated.

Food is always fantastic here and good service. The only Chinese we go to, on the more expensive side but definitely worth the money.

My wife and I went to this restuarant while on holiday and tried the "satay chicken".

Very disappointing meal, very expensive for what it was, bland, small in quantity. Wouldn't know I'd had a Chinese meal it was so ordinary. Won't be going back.

Much like food court Chinese with condescending rude service. Got takeaway rice and prawns. Very surprised with takeaway menu as you have to 'create your own ' type dish, no actual set options on takeaway menu. Very old school menu. Food was fresh. Reasonable size serves.Nothing authentic here, but only close to decent option in town hence the poor service.Will look at thai across road next time
