El Taco Shop - Mocksville

Authentic and amazing. Small location but they do everything to accommodate the experience!!

Pretty pleased with my first experience at El Taco Shop. For a reasonable cost I got a filling plate of huevos con chorizo. The accompanying salad was a little disappointing, but everything else was great. It didn't take long for staff to prepare my order either, especially important during lunch. There's not a ton of seating available, and as I witnessed there's a reasonable amount of business done here, so it might not be a bad idea to claim a table quickly. The food and the value doesn't quite match up with Pancho Villa's in Winston Salem and their stellar lunch specials, but if you're in Mocksville and in the mood for uncomplicated Mexican food this place is worth your attention.

I have something to eat for the extract and the rice was on the point along with the tacos dishes. I chose the mini-taco plate, unfortunately you can only have 2 flavors (2 of one, 3 of the other), so I wish I had a little more variety. The food took about 10 minutes to get out and was fresh. The price was definitely reasonable and wanted full of the fourth taco. You accept to pay tap (Samsung/Android/Apple Pay). Would definitely recommend.

My husband declared it was the best burrito he had in ages. My quesadilla was excellent as well, and the horchata was delightful. This was the best Mexican food we've had in quite some time. Although we don't visit Mocksville often, we’ll definitely return next time we're in town.

Taco Shop never disappoints! Definitely our favorite local spot for fresh and delicious Mexican food! The service is always friendly.
