Marcella - Modesto

This is in response to the 1st review of Reality249. Marcellas is a Mexican restaurant, not a pizza place. My family went to Marcellas my whole life and it is by far the best Mexican food in our area! Two things that are a MUSS are the Tapatia dinner salad and their Shredded beef tacos. The shredded beef tacos are like no other taco you all had. You are the best!!! The crushed beef Chimichanga is also great!!! The owners are friendly and welcome every time you go! Make sure you try them!!!!!!

I recently went to Marcellas on a date, the food was okay, but it's difficult to order from the menu. I didn't know what half the stuff was. Also the table is very, very small, then stack many plates on the table. Not very cozy. Would prefer California Pizza Kitchen or Buca over this Mitchells rest. That was a break. $20 for two people. All his others are top notch.
