I'll get both courts. the extra ensaladang talong was simply in order, nothing from the ordinary. coffee is free flowing, which is a beautiful note. the mango with sticky rice was just in order. At another visit we tried their Maliputo fish, but let him grill. I regretted that when she...read more
In any case one of the worst restaurants I have ever gone to. first, their service is absolutely terrible. the waiter who served us was busy seeing tw that he even poured a lot of water that flooded the glass. one of the glasses that were given to us had still oil. most server were busy seeing tw that they could not immediately participate in us. the place was really hot because the only air conditioning that was switched on was that close to the server that was eating was below average. her bark caldereta was hard and the portion size and overall quality is not worth the price I never go back to this restaurant and would never recommend to eat here.
What's going on? wouldn't be surprised if she eventually closed management should change the entire staff. absolutely a terrible experience. I remember all the waiter eyes being stuck with the TV. it was hard to call their attention. Apparently, they all had air cones. they do not even have the opening of the one with us as long as they were comfortable. we had to eat while we were sweating like we were sweating. No one threw their eyes away from the television! the glasses they have served has oil in it. when we politely asked to change them; one of the waiters had a creepy expression, annoyed with the fact that we disturbed their Telenovela session (please if he...read more
It's unfortunate that other reviewers shot down this place as we found our experience here to be quite acceptable. We did not order their staple, which is bulalo but we requested for the broth with some veggies to which they obliged for free. The broth was quite alright but not great, typical of Batangas-style bulalo (I prefer the Kansi-style of Negros). Their bangus sisig was very good as well as their paksiw na lechon. I recomend both dishes. The extra ensaladang talong was just OK, nothing out of the ordinary. Coffee is free-flowing which is a nice touch. The mango with sticky rice was just OK. On another visit, we tried their maliputo fish but had it grilled. I regretted this as they did not do this well. Our fault for asking for something other than their stated way of cooking (theirs was "kinamatisang maliputo). Maybe we should try their version next time.
Definitely one of the worst restaurants I have ever gone to. First off, their service is absolutely horrible. The waiter who served us was busy watching TV that he even poured a lot of water that the glass overflowed. One of the glasses that were given to us still had oil. Most of the servers were busy watching TV that they were not able to attend to us immediately. The place was really hot because the only air conditioner that was turned on was the one near the servers. The food was below average. Their beef caldereta was hard and the serving size and overall quality of it is not worth the price. I am never going back to this restaurant and would never recommend eating here.
