The chicken and sweet corn soup was also delicious. We opted for the Malaysian Nasi Goreng instead of the regular fried rice, and it did not disappoint. It was spicy, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. The crispy roasted fish in a sweet and tangy sauce was the perfect ending to our meal, served in a thin dough bowl instead of the usual thick crust. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
We came to this restaurant for a family meal. The restaurant is small but clean, and the service is quick. We ordered the honey beef, Nasi Goreng, and the combination Laksa. The food was served promptly and tasted delicious. We were the only customers dining in at 6:00 on a Thursday night, but there was a lot of take-out traffic. We would recommend this place.
Generous servings of good Chinese food. Good for kids. Not very busy but worthwhile finding. Went with family and they have been back several times.
The atmosphere is reminiscent of a quaint café, but unfortunately, the food quality is subpar. In fact, it was some of the worst food I have ever tasted. We ordered Nasi Goreng, Chilli Basil Prawns, and Chilli Beef. The Nasi Goreng was lacking in chicken, the Chilli Basil Prawns consisted mostly of onions with minimal shrimp and basil, and the beef was dry and lacking in flavor. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, seeming indifferent to the customer experience. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant again.
What a great find!! We were looking for some Malaysian food as we had just returned from overseas, so found oriental cuisine online. The King prawn spring rolls were fantastic and the Curry Puffs had a nice fluffy pastries unlike some of the dense pastries that are sometimes used. The beef return was delicious with delicate pieces of meat and the right amount of spices. The nasi goreng was great and my husband said the combination Omelette was one of the best he ate. The restaurant itself is not excessively large, the service was great and I loved the quirky plant containers hanging from the railers. There was a steady stream of people picking up pickup orders and about half of the tables were occupied. We will definitely return to this hidden gem!!
