Baba Sus - Monash

I would have to say this was the best pork belly I've ever had. Without trying to sound all master chef, it was and incredible mix of flavors that complimented each other perfectly. This was a quality I would expect to receive in a 5 star restaurant, Resonbly priced and beautifully presented with friendly service to as well. I'll definitely be making it a regular visit.

This tucked away little cafe is something you'd expect to find in the throws of the inner city. A small, asian inspired menu, with some nuances of the 'old fashioned' inner city menu items thrown in. I had the Wagyu Burger which was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. Lip smacking yum, and for a burger, not too big either.. bang on some divine chips on the side and you're full in no time. At least with a decent size burger, you don't leave anything to waste, just put a little on your waist!Wash that down with a watermelon and coconut smoothie and it's a posh version of a burger meal from a fast food restaurant, but made with not only love, but class.Situated next to the Burwood Train Station, this is a find. It's licensed too, so grab an asahi or wine if so inclined to wet the palette with an alcoholic beverage.It's a yes for me and will be working through the menu. Indoor & outdoor seating ( yet the outdoor area is not heated, so rug up in Winter). I had my furry friend with me, so took the rug up and eat outside option. It has a welcoming atmosphere, staff were attentive and a definite find in this pocket of the suburbs.
