Rice N Shine Buffet - Monroe

Great choice as lunch buffet. I had two bowls. many choices for dessert, obst, pudding and eis!

The inside looks so fresh and clean from the old China Buffet, the food set up is much better. The food is on platters and nice dishes and done in smaller batches so it's not sitting out for a long time. The food tasted really good.

We ordered lunch and never been here. We didn’t realize that they give you 2 1/2 lbs of food per order. The general TSo had a lighter sweeter sauce. It was different but absolutely excellent. We opened up the sweet and sour chicken expecting rice on the box. Nope! Just 2 1/2 lbs of chicken. Fresh not over greasy. After lunch for 2 and left overs for 3 people we still have lunch for the next day. Flavor is on point!We didn’t dine in. The place looked very clean, the food seemed fresh at the buffet. Excellent first impression. Very surprising for the area.

Prices have increased since the last time I was there. Food wasn't really the greatest. Mac n cheese was horrendous. It tasted watered down. Looked like it too. Yes I know I said watered down. Fried veggies were mush. Chicken was cold. Gave it 4 stars because of great parking.

My family loves this restaurant. We have been coming to this restaurant for years and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and the environment itself is nice and I recommend if you like Chinese food,this is the place to eat. Best place to eat in Monroe. Love this restaurant and love the people that work there.
