Jacky's Tacos - Montclair

Left this place before I even got to order because of their rude comments to another patron and my friend that was with me. I guess they don't believe in good customer service. The smell inside the restaurant was not pleasant and to top it off, it was hot as F inside. I hate leaving bad reviews but I really didn't like the comments made between all the ladies working there even after I explained I was ready to order but waiting for my friend so we could order together since I was paying.

This a phone order.. I ordered a burrito with eggs,beans and ham since she said that’s all they have.. told her I’ll take.. got my burrito the size of a taco with only ham and egg.Order a menudo with no hominy and feet only, got a menudo with hominy and regular meat, find out later when I called that they don’t serve feet.. which she would of told me when I was ordering.Also order a couple item that were correct, in all 4 items, when I got there to pick up I noticed 1 item was missing I told her and she told me I only charge you for 3 items.. Unbelievable knowing I order 4 items, don’t think I will go back

Been there twice before when they were barely open and food was fantastic,went there today 3/18/22 for lunch and got my favorite of 2 lengua gorditas and my son got the lengua wet burrito and we were so disappointed because it seems as if they stopped caring for the food they serve!! The lengua tasted like it was from the day before,so dry and almost black in color and smelled old,it was over cooked where it was dry and hard to swallow!! We will NEVER go back there!! The aguas frescas we're to old and tasted like they were starting to rot!! Very dissatisfied and disappointed and now I have food poisoning with chills , diarrhea and nausea!!! I hope health department gets to all the complaints and e-mails regarding this establishment!!!

Bomb tortas especially if you ask them to add cheese and grilled onions. Nice lady's behind counter. Chilaqueles is also really good can't go wrong with what you pick here to be honest. Price isn't bad at all either.

Came twice always closed even though the banner says it is now open. Hours have not been updated on any of the sites would appreciate some info as I enjoyed this place
