Laboratorio Kitchen - Montclair

Waitting stuff were great. Restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, little noisy but that's normal for a packed place. From all the food items we tried, the stracciatela appetizer and trout were really good. From desserts, flourless chocolate cake was amazing.

Food was delicious, and the portions were generous, service was impeccable. Great meal.

We have been going to Laboratorio for years. The food and service are consistently good. On this particular visit, I messed up the number of people in my reservation. Even on a busy Saturday night the maitre d' was kind enough to accommodate us. Overall, a great local restaurant.

The service here is excellent and the menu is unique. Lots of great seasonal choices. Portion sizes are large and the food quality is great. Definitely recommend coming here for a date!

Brought friends to experience LK for the first time. Shrimp arrabbiata appetizer (ordered 2) was delicious. (save your warm bread for dipping into the sauce) as The Caesar and arugula salads were delicious and plentiful to share. Enjoyed 2 orders of seafood/linguini/ red sauce and 2 orders of scallops with pureed cauliflower. The entrees were cooked perfectly, scallops tender and sweet, linguini al dente with shellfish just the right consistency. The LK staff is efficient and dedicated to making the dining experience a positive one. Tables were bussed in a timely manner, water glasses replenished often and waiter frequently checking up to see that all is going well. Our friends, like us, are hooked and cannot wait to return. We had a great night!
