Canton City Restaurant - Montebello

I've driven by this place numerous times. It was time to check it out. I like to think that a good hot sour soup will be an indication of the flavors to come in subsequent dishes. The soup was not bad. I would have preferred fresh mushrooms over the canned stuff, but the soup was still tasty. The owners were very attentive and gave excellent service. The owner recommended I add the crispy noodles, they give at the start, to the soup. Excellent suggestion!. I also ordered the Canton lo mein. It was delicious. The shrimp were fresh and the chicken tender. What I really liked about this place was that the flavors were mild. They were not overpowering with vinegar and other condiments. Great mom and pop place! It was clean and service was quick. You can tell that the owners take great pride in their establishment. I definitely will return to try other items on the menu. Lunch would be a good time to come since they offer combination plates.

Food is awesome and delish been going here for years and never disappointed me.

I 've been going here for years...nothing fancy just good old fashion quality service from a 'MOM POP ' place...their 'Wor Won Ton ' soup is best ever...place is clean staff is friendly attentive...good selection of dishes combos...have never had anything there that was not delicious well prepared...
