Zankou Chicken - Montebello

I normally go to the Zankou Chicken in Pasadena and I know that location has great food. Since Montebello is closer to me I decided to give it a shot. Not the same. My family and I were disappointed. Food took long to get served. Food was cold. Otherpatrons we're complaining of the wait time as well. I'm not sure if the workers were just having a bad evening. I'm willing togive this place one more shot. Hopefully my next visit will be better.

A place we love to go to for the past 23 years from Anaheim to Burbank to Montebello and Hollywood. My kids love this place you can never go wrong whatever you order. Shawarma, Tarna, whole children or Kababs they are all delicious.

GHETTO ? and it doesn?t get any ghettoer than this. The chicken was as dry as their employee?s attitude. From employees to the managers, get ready to be disappointed. They basically served us old food. Their chicken was the super dry and they couldn?tgive us a simple refund! We love Zankou, but just not this one! Stay away from this place and maybe just go to Pasadena orAnaheim.

Hello everyone. Zankou chicken is some amazing chicken. I recommend the half chicken combo. This place is popular, so get here early before lunch and dinner. There's plenty of parking outside, but spaces fill up quick. Staff is friendly, and will helpexplain menu items for first time visitors. This location sells Spanish style salsa (Picodegallo). "I had some delicious chicken at this place! I visited for a work lunch, and my boss suggested trying the chicken kebab, and she was spot on! The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, packed with flavor. The hummus was also tasty. I definitely plan to come back!"
