Rio's Pizza - Monterey Park

Really is the best pizza in town, I go to get pizza not to get treated like a princess, if u want customer service then u should go to cheesecake factory or some fancy place, please stop ur ridiculous comments

The best pizza in East Los Angeles and Monterey Park! Mr. Mike Rio and his team are amazing. They just need to restock the Mountain Dew.

This is my absolute favorite pizza spot, and Mr. Rio is a true gem. He operates a family business that stays true to his mother's authentic Italian recipes! Don’t mind the negative comments from those who judge based on appearances and prefer cheaper, lower-quality pizza. Each pizza here is made fresh to order—literally. These incredible pies are carefully monitored and rotated during the final stages of cooking, and you can truly taste the difference. Just look at the perfect browning on the cheese—it's just right, not too much or too little. Trust me, you'll want to keep coming back for this pizza! *Update: This location has closed, but you can still enjoy the same delicious pizza at Rio's in Montebello, located on the street side at the Montebello Mart on Montebello Blvd, just north of Beverly Blvd.

The pizza here is absolutely amazing, but I do share some of the concerns raised in other reviews. The staff tends to be rude and disrespectful at times, and I've experienced instances where I've been overcharged at their discretion. There have been several occasions when they contacted me later to say they had undercharged me. It makes me wonder if the owner knows how his employees are treating customers. They really seem to lack basic customer service skills.
