Baco Vino Y Bistro - Montevideo

Swiss DNA at Baco Vino y Bistro... The owners, he Uruguayan and they Chilean met in a renowned hospitality school in the French part of Switzerland. We visited this charming place twice and enjoyed both times a pleasant ambience, good food at reasonable prices and a very attentive service. A highlight was the very young, beautifully lined, refreshing white wine Garzon Albarino (2021). This popular restaurant is open 365 days a year, from 12:00 to midnight.

Spectacular tasty. Everything, food, drinks, even the bread was fresh. Very attentive service. Loved it and would like to go again as their menu was very attractive.

New find in Punta Carreras. Interesting new wine bar and restaurant. The style is upscale and modern. The menu borders French with an excellent tartar as well as some other classic but not fussy dishes. Very nice wine map with some reasonably priced quality wines from UY and AR as well as the old world. The staff was friendly and the front terrace was charming and quiet because of the road. A beautiful, new and very pleasant experience. UPdate: I have been here almost every Saturday since November and the food has always been reliable and high quality. The staff is attentive and the wine selection is great! The Baco Copa Tinto is also a very nice Cabernet. I recommend very Baco and they have even expanded the terrace in a very contemplative way.

One of our best outing experience in Montevideo. Food is tasty, the steak tartare was great. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

A very elegant Bistro with plenty of options for both drinks and food. Reservation is mandatory. The service is exceptional.
