I have been going here for years. it is a great standard in food, value and service. I have never had a bad experience here.
Friends and I spend a weekend in mooloolaba and found this german restaurant .spent some time in Germany and was hanging out for some authentic german food. Jackpot, we all had a good time, and the food was amazing. Big portions, friendly waiter and good beer. what else could you ask for.
Nice friendly service. Menu looked appealing but expensive. Food was definitely not worth what we paid. Small portion and not very good. Tourist rip off....but wait...we are Australian! Try somewhere else.
After trying to Diner there (after800pm) I finally managed to leave work early on a quiet night and just wanted a good and large serving of Käsespätzle with an Erdinger Beer. After trying to explain to one of the waitstaff what I wanted the manager came over and said we can do that.The dish arrived and the Spätzle where tossed in oil and sprinkled with "Parmesan Cheese" !?!?! I guess first time ever for anything. Noting that the south German delicacy is made with cream, Edamer or Gruyer Cheesen nutmeg and topped with fried onions and Jus. I have never seen Parmesan cheese in southern German Food.But hen the Chef was from North Germany in Berlin so no wonder.
