After searching for the highly-rated Emma's cafe, we were disappointed to find it had closed. However, we stumbled upon this cafe instead and were pleased we did. The scones were excellent, the coffee was good, the service was cheerful, and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend it.
During my visit to Buckie, I received a warm welcome from the staff at the restaurant. They were curious to know why I was in town and showed genuine interest in my visit. I promised to return the next day and update them on my experience. When I returned, I was greeted like an old friend, which was a delightful surprise. They even remembered my coffee order! I definitely plan on returning in the future.
I have been here before while on holiday and the coffee was good. But I went on a recent visit and the coffee was definitely made with water. I asked for a certain coffee you make with milk! If I hadn't been long gone when I tried it then I would have gone back. Coffee machine only seems to be on a certain amount of hours, even though the place is still open. The owner is also rude and abrupt. Stay away. Seems she is only interested in the locals. Rest of us are the little people. Will be going elsewhere when I visit again. They give Buckie a bad name.
We were up in the area on holiday on Monday and popped in for a coffee in the afternoon flat white. Really fab looking place but had to ditch the coffee as it was pretty undrinkable.
