The Dowans - Moray

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were escorted to a lounge where we were served coffee while waiting for a taxi that the hotel had arranged for us. Both our dinner and breakfast during our stay were excellent, made even more enjoyable by the outstanding service provided by the staff. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers.

Great staff and food. Accommodated our schedule for breakfast and dinner. Nice central spot for visiting Speyside and an amazing whisky selection on site.

A Great family hotel in the heart of Speyside. Our family group of 9 spent a lovely evening night in The Dowans Hotel, Aberlour. Rooms were good and clean. A fantastic whiskey selection for anyone so inclined. Followed by a lovely dinner. Superb ambience and an excellent location. Highly recommended.

Came here for dinner on Monday 3rd with a friend for dinner and drinks. As always the food and drinks were excellent as was the atmosphere, especially for a Monday! Cameron looked after us and deserves a mention because his service was brilliant. Cameron was polite and efficient and his personality really came through in his service. Will be back soon!

I was delivering luggage here but had been on the road for quite a while so was feeling hungry. I asked if they did lunch but I was too early. However the staff served me regardless which was really kind of them. I had stuffed chicken thigh and veg which was absolutely delicious. It's a beautiful place and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
