Off the Hook - Morehead City

This place is designated accordingly. Because her food was safe from the hook. Great friendly staff, entertaining environment and good TV in the bar. Beautiful outdoor terrace also and even has a cozy dining area. 3 environments in one!!!!

Had a much needed date night and looking for a restaurant on the water. It was Saturday evening and the first 2 spots we tried had a 45 min waiting for 2 people. OTH sat us right away. The waitress was kind. My wife got the grouper special and it was some of the best fish we had in a long time. I had the shrimps Tacos and they were good. We'll talk about this grouper a week later. Thank you for supporting Date Night a success.

The fish and shrimp were both perfectly fried. The Coleslaw was fresh and delicious. The reason why it is not 5 stars is the service. There were only 2 tables of 2 in the restaurant and the service was terrible. We watched the 3 servers chat and ignored their tables. We had to refill after the last time. If you want a good service and good food, it might not be the place for you.

Fortunately on Wednesday afternoon. (Area restaurants have limited days / hours op) 1. Bri the bartender was stellar. General fresh chips salsa was almost a meal. Spinach salad with grilled mahi mahi lunch was above the top. Bacon in the salad, so I do it for old dress. A/C Bar/Ruhe outdoor terrace top deck. Anyway, come back.
