Panera Bread - Morganton

The Creamy Tomato Soup was absolutely delicious! I also tried the Fuji Chicken Salad, which was fresh and has quickly become one of my favorites!

AVOID THIS PLACE! This is the worst Panera Bread I have ever visited. There was trash everywhere—on the floors, tables, counters, and in the bathrooms. Old dishes were left on tables and stacked high near the trash bins. The soda machine was out of order, with a note instructing customers to use other drink fountains, but those machines were also off and contained old juice. They were missing half the menu items and were out of many to-go boxes. The bakery selection was nearly non-existent, and I couldn't shake the feeling of wondering how long that pastry had been sitting there. The food also came out slowly. Despite all these issues, the staff did seem to be nice.

This location is really disappointing. They've only managed to get my drive-thru order right once, and their service is incredibly slow. Oh my gosh! The atmosphere during lunchtime feels so lifeless, almost like a ghost town. It seems like the only reason this place is still open is because there aren't any other options nearby.

The pagers don’t work. Every table is dirty. The floor is sticky. It looks as if this place has gone all day without any employee attention to the dining area. And this was at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.If you were going to charge four dollars for a bagel, you must staff your restaurant properly. This place did not.
