Mezeh Mediterranean Grill (short Pump)

I recently visited Mezeh and was highly impressed by the variety of options available and the level of service. They offer an extensive selection of hummus flavors, ranging from spicy to classic, as well as a great assortment of toppings. This place has quickly become our favorite restaurant.

Healthy, flavorful, hearty, and absolutely delicious! Mezeh Mediterranean Grill is an outstanding restaurant that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating suitable for any season. The service here is excellent, but the true highlight is undoubtedly the food—it’s simply delightful. It’s impressive how they manage to serve meals that are both delectable and nutritious. I ordered a bowl filled with arugula, kale, mixed greens, and spinach, topped with chicken kebab and chicken shawarma for protein, along with Turkish salad, spicy hummus, and Lebanese tabbouleh with lemon and garlic. The flavors were exquisite, and the portion sizes were just right. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. It’s the perfect combination of healthy and tasty cuisine, and I highly recommend it!

The ordering process is quite similar to Chipotle, as you select your food at the counter. I sampled the chicken kebab, shawarma, and veggie kefta, all served in a bowl with a variety of toppings. The ingredients tasted fresh and healthy, and I left feeling quite satisfied. The flavors were distinctly Mediterranean, and at only $10 per bowl, it’s definitely worth trying.

I am a huge fan of Mezeh and have been exploring various locations in Virginia for the past five years. I was excited to discover the Twin Lakes location during my recent visit, and I must say that the bowl I had there was just as fresh and delicious as the ones I've had at Short Pump. If you haven't tried a Mezeh bowl yet, I definitely recommend that you do. However, I should note that in my last couple of visits to this location, the speed and accuracy of the service could use some enhancement.

We visited Mezah after discovering that they serve halal meat, even though it's not clearly indicated on their menu. We confirmed this with the staff. The seating area was clean and inviting. The food was satisfactory, but there is certainly room for improvement when it comes to flavor.
