Do not recommend. Ordered Schezuan Beef and all i got was stir fried carrots. I think there was like 5 pieces of meat total. Definitely never going to come back
Pretty good to take out when you taste most Chinese food better when it is eaten fresh in the restaurant. the spicy bark and the bung had great taste, but the part is smaller than other places I tried to get around the opposite for the same price. the black darm was tasteful, but it has too much sweet and not enough darm. the beef hot pot was delicious, my favorite from the 3 things I got.
They have the best peking escape in the RTP area! they can also ask to include their order. in general, some foods are quite authentic Chinese cuisine, but the others are more American Chinese style. overall pretty decent Chinese restaurant
40 dollars for a Peking duck that tasted like days old meat. The fried sweet and sour fish was supposed to be crispy... it was straight up soggy (the waiter tried telling me it was because of the sauce, LOL). No, this style of fish isn't supposed to be soggy...The worst part was the twice cooked pork the meat literally seemed rancid and beared no resemblance to actual twice cooked pork that anyone would expect. When I mentioned this to the waiter, she started yelling at our table and getting super defensive before storming and kicking her way into the kitchen. Super uncomfortable and I've never experienced anything like that.Don't recommend at all, save yourself the waste of a trip and go to Banana Leaf Cary for the duck or Taipei 101 for anything else downtown instead.
