Morwell Central Bar & Bistro

I went to this restaurant for Mother's Day lunch. I hadn't been since the management changed, and I must say, I was disappointed. The warm welcome that I had previously received was missing, and the meals were just average. Even though the menu had expanded, the quality had decreased. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't as good as it used to be.

The service was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful on picking choices for main menu. The steak was very enjoyable. Would have liked more than cake slices for a dessert menu, but overall we were very happy with the meals we received.

Excellent service, great meals, good choices and reasonable prices. Have eaten here quite often and really enjoy their steaks. Pizza is also available.

When we walked in we thought this looks pretty ordinary but the efficient staff quickly showed us to the table we had reserved and took orders for our drinks without us having to go to the bar. I ordered chicken scallopini and it came well presented over little roast potatoes and green beans.The sauce was one of the best I have tasted including those at much more expensive Italian restaurants in the City.The rest of our group were very pleased with their various selections and we all agreed that we had not had better value for money in the Latrobe valley and surrounds.

Great variety of meals at good prices. Service was prompt and friendly. Meals were lovely and fresh and very tasty. Good space between tables for conversations.
