Not much parking, not sure whether it is more on the other side of the building. Huge outdoor dining area that would be useful in spring and summer. From the second I went, I loved the charm of the restaurant. They were far understated, the host, who is also bartender and waiter, warned us before the time. He told us if we stay, we might have to wait for our food. That never happened. He was on top of everything. He was visibly stressed, but did a fantastic job. I loved the whole setup. Each table top and chair had a different theme. It shows how life in Mexico was in the past. More importantly, the food was delicious. You start with homemade chips and salsa. I ordered the Rock Steak Tacos. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, very delicate. I thought I was in a steak house while I ate it. My fiancée has a combination of chimichangas, tostada and chicken nchiladas. She gave me one of the chicken enchiladas and one of the chimichangas. Both were amazing. Both plates also came with rice, fried beans and guacamole. The rice was good, Guacamole was even better. I'm not a fan of fried beans, so I have no taste. After my fiancé, they were very good. For dessert we had fried ice cream. It was done right in front of us. It was quite a hibachi show with ice and liquor involved. I had a video to fasten, but apparently it's too big to upload. A great experience. I recommend that everyone who visits or lives in the area. Authentic Mexican cuisine made right.
We found this place by chance 5 years ago on the way back from Maine. We tried to find out each time we were in the area. The food is amazing. The guacamole is fresh and the prices are very reasonable. Very authentic taste and ambience.
Was very happy to discover this wonderful Mexican run Mexican restaurant in the heart of NH Lake District. Conveniently located on Route 25 in Moultonborough directly towards Wolfboro and Castle in the cloud, it could not be more comfortable or more charming. The decor inside was very heartwarming brilliant lacquered/carved chairs from Mexico are the dominant furnishings, and the waiter is super friendly and accommodating. The outdoor tables also looked inviting. We had very nice combination plates, which were fresh and very tasty.
Good flavors and a wide selection of Mexican dishes offered, including some that you usually do not find in the area. The prices were reasonable and the portions were filled, but not excessively large. As we weren't immersed, but we couldn't taste drinks, but the chips they gave us were fresh and crispy to go with the meal. Since the restaurant is small, a premium can be in busy nights, but this is a good option for Mexican food in the area and worth waiting.
Jose is amazing, his restaurant and food are amazing. Last week was my first time visiting this place, and I'm beyond thrilled to have chosen to go. I had the carnitas plate and my partner had a steak and shrimp plate. Both were made absolutely perfectly, and we had a lovely time and a lovely meal. Great atmosphere and wonderful service, mixed with delicious food? Always a good time. We will be back, for certain. We will also be recommending it to friends and family.
