La Mousse Cafe - MOUNT CLAREMONT

I purchased a Scoopon voucher for 6 people and visited the restaurant a month ago. We received 2 tiers of sandwiches which could be shared between 3 people per tier. The presentation was perfect and they served cucumber sandwiches, salmon cream cheese sandwiches, ham sandwiches, and egg sandwiches. The taste was better than the high tea at the Duxton hotel that I had tried before. The scones were soft and fluffy, served with jam and cream. In my opinion, the price was very reasonable. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and plan to return again.

We had a great time at this restaurant! Despite reading a negative review beforehand, our experience was fantastic. My 11 friends and I enjoyed a delicious high tea with a variety of tasty sandwiches, including cucumber, ham and mustard, and chicken and relish. The scones with jam and cream were a hit, and we also loved the macaroons, strawberry and passionfruit tarts, and mini quiches. The service was attentive and we had no issues with getting tea refills. Overall, we were very satisfied with the high tea we received for the price we paid on Scoopon. I would definitely return and give it 5 stars!

Quality Service, Food Good Price. I have been here a few times since I live nearby. I love the coffee here. The friendly staff always top it up with a tiny macaroon that lifts up everyone's day. The colourful macaroon is so yummy and has become one of the reasons I get my coffee from there during weekends. The food are not overly priced. The cakes are delicious but not the pumpkin bread.

Some nice cakes biscuits. The coffee is made reasonably well but I think the Bonissimo coffee beans lets them down. They could improve the decor as its quite bland. It needs to have more warmth be more welcoming. In a pleasant spot next to the Mt Claremont Library.

I absolutely love this place. I appreciate how there are never long lines when I'm in a hurry to get to work. The staff is very friendly and they already know my coffee order. The macarons are beautiful, and the Melting Moments are heavenly. I will definitely be coming back here often!
