Website for the booking was very user friendly. As one approached the appointment, emails reminder on the booking, as well as the day after the meal. A very nice touch I thought. The restaurant opened exactly 1800h and from that moment everything was top notch. The menu was explained to us from the start. All the dishes were melting in your mouth stuff, from the Wagyu Beef Tataki to the Tiramisu. For me personally the grilled duck was wow. My only disappointment was size of the dish and hence a four stars. Great food, great services but small dish size.
We booked a table of 3 at 7.45 and at 8.10 after many attempts of try to get there attention and even locking eyes we had to go up to get our drink and food order taken! We ordered everything at once as we we're starving by then and then thought we would give dessert a go too. However that too was taken and and after all our mains and table cleared at least another 30mins and we had to go up and ask how long would dessert be. The guy turned around and and simply said they forgot about it! He tried to blame that they had a trainee however no one was actually training him as 80% he was left on his own looking lost. We can't fault the food however the service staff need a shake up! Retrained or guidance. Disappointing end to a good night.
Japanese. And tapas. What is not to like! Our first visit here and we are planning a return. So many great options on the menu. We shared the scallops, endamame, gyoza, sashimi, duck and rice. All were delicious, with the gyoza being the standout. Highly recommended.
Very different, unique and tasty plates of food . Thoroughly enjoyed everything and will go back on day!
