How can they completely leave the main ingredient? it was eaten there for at least a decade. that was the last time. Has anyone recommended a good kambodschan restaurant?
Charged $18 for steamed rice. corkage $8 per bottle very expensive and personal are rude. I will never go back
Delicious food, the tamarind lamb and satay huh were beautiful, great decoration and atmosphere, good service
We visited this restaurant recently, inadvertently. it was anzac day and after visiting the service we drove for splash italian restaurant in mt hawthorn. we were disappointed to close it. when we asked ourselves what we should do next, we went ten meters and found the tamarind we were really surprised. great service in a standard but beautiful, quiet venue. we ordered the usual tariff: vegetarian early rolls, fish cake and then split a noodle dish plus a green chicken cure. all the dishes were nicely served, were delicious and consistently pleasant. we have lived and worked in asia for many years, and this restaurant served what we feel is quite good eating this restaurant will probably not win...read more
We got takeaway from here tonight, we normally get it from Full Moon Thai but really fancied some roti bread, Tamarind is more expensive but we thought it might be nice to try somewhere different. The result was decidedly disappointing, the Roti bread was doughy and under cooked, the curry sauces were watery and tasteless and the other dishes were tasteless also, the rice was either undercooked or old, I couldn't work out which but a lot of it was dry and hard. We have eaten in before and cant remember the food being bad so maybe it was just an off night but suffice to say we will be sticking with our old tried and tested Full Moon Thai in future
