Staff was very friendly. We Only had ice cream cones but they were very good. They have a full menu to choose from. The weather was perfect for the outdoor seating that they provided. Will definitely make a trip back.
’d the Dairyette. Nostalgic place. They have lots of food options not just soft serve.
We stopped here for lunch while camping at Joplin Use Area. The cheese burger and fries were really good. The burger patties are thin like you would expect to find at a walkup style place like this. There are classic wood picnic tables with beach umbrellas outside to eat at. And there's enough room between them that we were able to keep the dog with us. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent.
This charming, old-school drive-in restaurant is a gem! It's not a place for fast food; everything is made to order, ensuring freshness. The cheeseburger was exceptional—cooked perfectly with high-quality beef and a beautifully caramelized grill. The bun was light and didn’t overshadow the burger's flavor. The fries were super fresh, piping hot, and had a gorgeous crispy exterior, plus the portion was generous! I also enjoyed a really tasty butterscotch shake—not too thin, not too thick. The Donna fish sandwich was impressive as well; it wasn’t overcooked, and the fish had great flavor with a nice crisp coating. This place truly offers classic American diner fare, cooked and served excellently at reasonable prices, all in an atmosphere that feels nostalgic. I can’t wait to return! If you’re in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop by and grab a bite!
