Lascala's Pronto Mt. Laurel

We never were seated. They didn't look for our reservation and we asked and said we had the confirm email. Nothing waitress was like well I'm new, we asked to speak to someone else. Still nothing, we left. Thanks for the great mother's day dinner...

Our eggplant parmesan sandwiches and cheese fries were very good! Service was also very good. Alex was an excellent waiter! Very friendly and attentive. Even our greeter which was a young black gentleman was very friendly as he welcomed us and acknowledged us as we left. I love this little place. Always a hit for me.

The ambiance left a lot to be desired. The food was ok, but our server/host was a bit “out to lunch.” He brought us a pitcher of water, but I had to ask twice for glasses. Also, I used OpenTable to do the reservation, and he never checked me in. He didn’t even ask what name the reservation was under. I had to later on in the meal ask him to check us in, so I could get my points. This felt very much like a place for a quick, work lunch—not a fine dining establishment for dinner. I was under-whelmed, especially w the service.

Food was delicious. I had the veal involtini which was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty

Food was poor. Gnocchis sauce was basically just pizza sauce. Poor execution on other entrees as well.
