Kyoto Kitchen Japanese - Mount Vernon

The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was $10–20. The food and atmosphere were both rated 4 out of 5. Recommended dishes include the California Roll, Roll, and Sashimi.

The restaurant is located in a cool, old building with a unique dark ambiance. The waitress was excellent and the nigiri was outstanding. The krokkoro was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, served with a delicious sweet and savory steak sauce. The yellowtail roll was good, but the smoked salmon was especially tasty. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere all receive perfect ratings. The average price per person for dinner is between $30 and $50.

Got katsu chicken, portion was quiet large but, it was very very bland, but the sauce served on the side tasted like salt and only salt and not in a soy sauce good way. The vibe in the joint was pretty awkward and the main server just seemed annoyed that we were there. I really wanted it to be good, as a hole in the wall usually is, but this was a bust.
