Visiting O Encalho is entering the real world of Alentejo food. Here you can taste the Arroz de Cabidela in it 's version traditional from Alentejo and the traditional pork meat (Porto Preto) from the black pigs that are only found in Alentejo. The perfect side is Migas and/or Migas de Espargos. Migas is made with bread, garlic, olive oil and water. It 's also very nice to see them cooking it! If you want to see it, ask! The Migas de Espargos have an extra asparagus which makes them particularly delicious! Deserts are ever so sweet and delicious that they are hard to resist. You will also find cheeses and various types of deli that are worth trying. Oh! And don 't forget the wine! Divine!
Comida excelente e bem confecionada. Matém intacta a tradição gastronómica da região. Bem hajam!
Adoro as migas de espargos! Aconselho a provar pode optar para o acompanhamento por secretos, plumas, lombinhos grelhados com molho de órgãos...
Há anos que venho ao Encalho dos meus primos (salvo seja!!! e continuam a ser os melhores da Amareleja num raio de 137.63km. Não parem, porra...!!!
