Eli's Group - Mt Carmel Ave, Hamden

They got my order wrong and it took over 20 minutes to receive the correct one. It also took an additional 5 minutes to get a refund when all I wanted was my money back. I usually go to the Branford location which is much better, so I would recommend staying away from the Hamden location.

We arrived at Eli's at 9:30 to have dinner, but were stopped by a bouncer at the door. Unfortunately, two of my friends did not have their IDs with them, even though they had college IDs indicating that they were undergraduates. We decided to go back with our IDs, but were turned away again because they do not allow anyone under 21 past 10 o'clock. The bouncer rejected us without explaining the 10 o'clock rule. In my opinion, the service was terrible and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I would not recommend bringing children to Eli's at night.
