He asked the cook, but he didn't know. A little bit disappointing, but okay. Anyway we ordered the Holy fish burger and the Holy bacon-cheese burger along with sweet potato fries and normal fries. After a while the burgers came and four minutes later the sweet potatos. I asked if the normal fries were on their way as well, and the blond female waitress answered me and looked at me as if I was the most unpatient customer she had ever seen. After further 5 minuttes she came back and said that the kitchen had forgotten about them, but that they were in the making. After a while we had finished our burgers and we told the male waiter that we didn't want the fries now, and he said that of course that was allright. However 2 minutes later the female waitress came with the fries. We told her that we already had cancelled them and she practically threw them at our table and told us that "we could have them for free - she didn't care". The customers around us looked as shocked as we did. Afterwards she came back and said in a more nice way, that we could eat some of them if we wanted to. We didn't have to pay. We ended up giving the fries to the customers next to us. We asked the female waitress for the bill, which did not come until 10 minutes later, because she had forgotten about us. She told us that normally you tip the waitress, but we felt her behaviour had been nothing, but rude and was surprised she would even suggest that. Normally we never complain, but this kind of behaviour we can not ignore. We wish we could have written this review in our own language, but in order for you to understand we have tried to do it in english. However the food was fine, pretty average, but okay in our opinion.
I previously used to go to the Holy Burger near Hauptbahnhof which closed. Very happy to find that this location exists. We ate here yesterday and it hasn't missed a beat! I recommend the Mexican Burger.
Great vegetarian options, as well as all your standard meat options, with some special touches. Cannot fault the quality of the food! For burgers, however, the prices are a little high. The staff were also very blunt with us, and when we arrived, someone was sitting at the table I had reserved. The staff acted as if I was in the wrong for suggesting that these people move.
We ordered a vegetarian and a vegan burger with respective sides, waited for about 45 minutes for the fries to be brought - but no sign of the burgers. When they arrived, one of the sides was missing and I had to ask for them again. I have an egg allergy and had ordered the vegan burger to avoid any hassle with mayonnaise/egg in the meat patty, but I had an allergic reaction after the first bite. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she said she wasn't there when the burger was prepared (never a classy move to blame someone else) but offered to bring me another one. I could tell she thought I was being difficult. The vegan burger that was then brought out was pretty decent, but it came more than an hour after we first sat down, and I had no sides to accompany it with and since my friend's burger had already arrived I was left to chew it down in a rush because we were running late. When I asked the waitress at the end if there could have been some kind of mix-up, she said there was no way that could have happened, and that "as long as you didn't drop dead" it couldn't have been so bad. This place hasn't been open for long so might yet improve, and the vegan/vegetarian options are good, but with service like I doubt many people will come back after a first visit.
