It has a section where you could sit on the ground with your shoes off, they have a very extensive menu of sakes, Japanese starters, sushi and ramen and the service is truly Japanese from Japanese people. It is a place where you can have food which is not easily available elsewhere in Munich.Green tea is served in proper Japanese tableware, Edamame is fresh and costs 1 Euro for a small bowl, ramen is really amazing and the daifuku desert is truly weird :)The owner is a lovely middle-aged Japanese woman who is normally inside and like to talk to the guests. One of our favorites in Munich. Do visit!
We like it! It feels authentic: bright lights, no western cutlery, lots of Japanese customers. Lovely service, good food, defenately not pricey, seev bayern beer. Ok: I admit Sushi few nights ago was bit saulty but I blame the soya sauce!
I liked the atmosphere, the food especially the sashimi was great. The service was also very good. The only negative point was the a bit high price...
Sushi is very average, don't expect to eat in good quantity and the quality of the fish they put in sushi really left space to desire. On a mix sushi dish there was just small salmon on a very small nighiri and all makis were done with gerkin and surimi (worst processed shrimp). Never more
We found this place to be a quite and inexpensive Japanese restaurant worth visiting and we already came back quite a few times. From the outside it does not look welcoming but once you get inside it feels different. More then once we met Japanese families eating at this place. This must mean something. One of my favorite is the "Udon Topf".
