Dopo la visita al Parco Archeologico abbiamo trovato un posto in questo ristorante senza guardare recensioni e senza prenotazione. Accoglienza impeccabile dal personale sempre cordiale durante il pranzo e 5 minuti per preparare il tavolo in una delle camere interne. Menu molto ricco tra mare e terra e, essendo a Ostia, abbiamo scelto la prima opzione. Ho avuto alcuni dubbi sulla continuazione del pranzo quando il cameriere, che era anche molto gentile, ha preso l'ordine dalla memoria: cozze saltate, polpo di bambino fritto e porro croccante con aceto balsamico, spaghetti con vongole, monumento maltagliati e 2 bicchieri di falanghina. Il pane non è arrivato e i piatti non sono arrivati allo stesso tempo: prima il polpo del bambino e, su richiesta, il sauté. Poi un piatto di spaghetti ma non erano nostri, poi (sempre su richiesta) i 2 bicchieri. Dopo un po 'di 2 monumenti arrivano, ma ovviamente solo uno era troppo molti. Dopo 10 minuti gli spaghetti sono arrivati e praticamente abbiamo fatto a turno mangiando il primo corso. Ma andiamo alla lode dopo la critica: la frittura era eccellente e leggera, le cozze erano buone, troppo male mancava un po 'di pane tostato (o anche pane fresco) per una slitta sontuosa. Gli spaghetti cucinati molto al dente erano buoni ma non molto buoni e (forse a causa del ritardo) era un po' staccati dalla salsa) ma i maltagliati alla monumento erano eccellenti e abbondanti: semplicemente molto saporiti. E' un peccato per i malintesi: sappiamo che la domenica, nonostante l'esperienza e i molti camerieri, ci può essere un problema ma questo danneggia sia il cliente che il ristoratore. I prezzi forse un po 'al di sopra della media ma ancora vale la pena provare, non la domenica: e forse questo è quello che farò

After making a reservation, 6 people went for lunch at around 1pm. From the person who I presume was the owner, in order not to create problems in the kitchen, we were told that the first courses would be served first (waiting time around 20 minutes) and followed by the second courses. After at least half an hour, four of us had the honor of enjoying the first course while I and another person (who only had a second course and side dish) also had to wait for everyone to finish eating the first course. When my coveted fried calamari only arrived, in addition to these there were also prawns. I politely asked the waiter to rectify. Naturally the dish, always the same, returned to me without shrimp but as sparse as ever because what had been removed had not been integrated. Once the second course was finished, the side dishes were still not on the table and we asked for the preparation to be stopped because it no longer made sense to eat the side dish separately. The owner made amends by saying that he had forgotten to pass the order to the kitchen. I pointed out to him that the prawns removed from my plate could be replaced by a few more pieces of squid: he justified himself by saying that the portion of squid was the right one and that the prawns are added later when the dish is ready to be served. Too bad that my neighbor's portion of calamari alone completely filled her little Flemish girl. Even though we had declined the offer of a plate of fried calamari to make amends, he wanted to bring them to the table anyway and there, untouched, they remained. What can I say: even if the lunch had been gourmet, I didn't appreciate it, it went awry due to the owner's behavior and I felt cheated. Never to see each other again
