La Siesta Mexican - Murfreesboro

We were immediately greeted with free chips and salsa as we sat down. The salsa was the best we've ever had. Three of us ordered three different dishes: carne asada tacos, al pastor tacos, and a steak burrito. The taco shells were the perfect size and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I was hoping to describe this place as a hidden gem, but unfortunately, it serves mediocre Mexican food. It seems like the chips are store-bought and the salsa is from a bottle. The presentation and taste are lacking. I really wanted to enjoy my experience here. Additionally, the women's restroom is in poor condition, with a missing tile and water damage throughout.

I ordered the chicken from the lunch menu and it was fantastic. The service was great and the atmosphere was good. That's what it's all about.

Very disappointed, I know good carne asada when I taste it. I have the huh and the steak-tacos I won't bring back here.

Gross. Overpriced for portions. Had to send food back 3 times before just giving up. Only thing good is the salsa and soft drinks.
