La Siesta Mexican - Murfreesboro

If you're a fan of Mexican pork dishes, this is the place for you. Their pork is absolutely incredible—so tender and flavorful. We've genuinely never had a bad experience here. The food is consistently excellent, whether it's beef or chicken. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, but it's usually very good. They do have an outdoor patio for nice days, although the view isn't particularly appealing; you’ll be looking out at a truck-filled parking lot or at the intersection of Highway 231 and I-24. So, drink a margarita and focus on enjoying the company at your table instead!

It's a hidden gem! This is the best Mexican restaurant I've visited in a long time. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was exceptional.

Very underrated spot!!! Looked on yelp at the low reviews took the gamble anyway. Glad I did! Food was really good. Don't pass this place up! Customize Pollo Loco and added peppers and onions. Food came out fast and server was very polite! 5 stars!

Food was gross. Nowhere near authentic Mexican style. I ordered Al Pastor tacos and it was nothing but dried out shredded pork on a tortilla. Not the pastor ive been used to. Highly disappointed.

This place used to be pretty good, but tonight the food was GROSS. The nachos had no flavor whatsoever was definitely missing something. The taco salad was so watery it should have been called taco soup. The lettuce was very brown and the meat was so dry it was gross. The only thing that was good were the chips, salsa, queso and the margaritas. We will not be back again. We held a meet n greet here and will be moving it elsewhere next month. Everyone in our party was very disappointed by their food.
