The lunch menu was creative and flavors out of this world... the Reuben, burger, fish n' chips, and daily specials could not be matched. Vicente, their evening chef, would create mouth watering entrees that kept their customers happy and satisfied. Always loved their attention to providing vegan and vegetarian options that were creative and delectable. The staff was always friendly, approachable, and timely. Their ambiance was lovely... like coming home to a house full of friends. Well-run, clean, artsy, and fun. I've been missing them for months.
Busy 4th July weekend and not a lot of options for a mid breakfast due to the crowds, but we really liked this place from the outside with outdoor seating, very busy, only 1 waitstaff for in and out dining. 10 minute wait turned into 30, but we hung in there: 3 adults and 2 children under 7. We got seated by a very nice waitress who had a hard job. didn 't seem to have any help. This is around 10:15 a.m. and we had not had coffee yet, so ordered that right away. Placed orders Portobello Benedict, Omelet and pancakes for the kids (which turned out great, can 't mess that up). Anxiously, waiting for our coffee. Received water, kids got juice. Then we are told there is no coffee . LOL. it 's breakfast, who doesn 't have a pot of coffee brewing??!? Our meals arrived and at first I was taken aback at my charred blackened mushrooms. It was cold on the inside, the egg was warm, a tomato and piece of spinach soaked on a black Portobello. No seasoning. Third adult 's omelet was 'watered down ', some kind of watery liquid, the veggies and cut up sausage link, cheese, just laid there. Barely warm and no seasoning: all three meals were inedible. We have never left a place so hungry and so disgusted and left the food. The cheese polenta cake was a mess of something, but it wasn 't polenta. The chef should have just bought one of those store rolls, sliced it and heated it up. There is no way this was a trained chef, cook, sous chef, line cook from Denny 's. Please take this Benedict off the menu. The kids pancakes were good. OH !! and have some instant Taster 's Choice in the cupboard. People LIKE coffee with their meals. And, it was over $100.00 for this 'hot mess '. The night before we had dinner in Arnold at a Mexican restaurant, filled 5 of us to the gills and was less than $65.00 out the door. We really wanted to like this place.
I cannot recommend this place enough! The food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, and our server, Belinda, was amazing! The pricing for the portion sizes is awesome in my opinion. A great little spot. Awesome all around!
Decided to stop in and try breakfast at the Murphys Grille yesterday. I'm so glad I did! They have a nice varied menu. Something for everyone. I had the Murphys Grille omelet. I was intrigued that there were walnuts in it. It was absolutely delicious! Lots of caramelized onions and gorgonzola cheese, and the walnuts were a great addition! I may have to try that myself at home. I chose to eat on the patio. So nice to sit in the shade on a warm day and watch the world go by. Definitely stop in and try it. I'll be going back.
These are photos of the garlic I pulled out of the garlic fries yes this was so overpowering it was literally disgusting do you have enough garlic here for 6/7 orders It even over powered the burger
